Forging Sculptures
Build on your skills with a two-day module, exploring artistic possibilities. Whether you've completed our introduction to blacksmithing course or have some experience under your belt, this class will help you develop your skills and unleash your creativity.
What you'll experience
This one-on-one workshop invites you to explore the artistic side of blacksmithing through the creation of a small-scale forged sculpture. You’ll learn key design principles, how to select and work with different materials and ways to unlock your creativity in the forge.
With expert guidance, you’ll shape and assemble your sculpture using traditional forging techniques. If you already have an idea in mind, bring it along, and we’ll help you refine and realize it. If not, don’t worry: we’ll spark inspiration together and guide you through the process from concept to completion.
You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind sculptural piece that reflects your vision and craftsmanship.
*Notes:
This workshop requires prior completion of an introductory blacksmithing course - either with us or elsewhere - or equivalent experience. Participants must also have a solid understanding of workshop safety.
Your instructor will help you with a design that suits your skill level and fits the scope of a two-day workshop.
